Wet specimens are shipped WITHOUT fluid for safety.
We ship the specimen in a plastic ziploc bag (to preserve the moisture), with a pair of gloves and the jar. You will need to remove the specimen from the bag and return it to the jar, and then add fluid at your end. Do this in a well ventilated area.
Add a mixture of Isopropyl alcohol (available from most hardware stores) and distilled water (available at many supermarkets) in a ratio of 70% Isopropyl alcohol to 30% distilled water until the specimen is covered.
