Specimens are graded according to the following standards:
A grade – near perfect, all teeth present and no bone damage
A- grade – one minor instance of bone damage OR up to two teeth missing (not front teeth)
B grade – Bone damage AND/OR up to two missing teeth (may be the front teeth)
C grade – significant bone damage AND/OR many missing teeth
Just the tops – no bottom jaw, likely many missing teeth and/or bone damage.
