Description
Dried emu feet and wings – amazing to see the relative size differences between other species. The wing bones are approximate to a very large chicken or turkey size, and have a claw/spur on the tips. The feet are huge, as expected. A very cool study in physiological adaptations.
Things to point out: there is slight damage to one of the feet, likely caused at the time of death. This is visible in the pictures.
